Vice President Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, SAN, will depart
Abuja later today, (Monday) to represent President
Muhammadu Buhari at the swearing-in ceremony of
Nigeria’s immediate past Agriculture Minister, Dr.
Akinwunmi Adesina as President of the African
Development Bank, AfDB.

The inauguration will take place, tomorrow,
Tuesday September 1, 2015, in the Abidjan, Cote
D’Ivoire.
It would be recalled that President Buhari actively
supported the candidature of the AfDB president-
elect in a keenly contested election conducted in
May this year even before the Buhari presidency
assumed office.

The Vice President will speak at the event and
return to Abuja later tomorrow.
